We had a fantastic time staying at this charming bed and breakfast on the outskirts of Hexham. the location was peaceful and surrounded by beautiful farm buildings, creating a tranquil atmosphere. Our room was fresh, clean, and thoughtfully decorated, with little touches like fresh milk and water in the fridge outside the room. the bed was incredibly comfortable, providing us with a perfect night's sleep. the breakfast in the Orangery was delicious, with the scrambled eggs being a particular highlight. the hosts were friendly and accommodating, making us feel very welcome.
Not being able to enjoy a scenic view from our room.

Wonderful, warm welcome from hosts, who helped us find a delicious dinner nearby on a Sunday night and even called ahead to make sure we had a table. Lovely, comfortable room and large bathroom. Dvd player in the room and a selection of DVDs in the hall. One of the best breakfasts we had during two weeks in England--homemade bread, fruit compote, eggs from the farm's own chickens, etc. And we got to visit with the farm's alpacas after breakfast, which was loads of fun. I'll definitely stay here again if I'm back in the area.
I can't think of a thing. A sign at the turnoff to the b&b would be helpful, but the directions on Booked.net were perfectly clear and got us there just fine.

Fairshaw Rigg is a warm and friendly environment. The facilities and breakfast were of the highest standard. Paul and Kathryn are fantsatic hosts and always willing to go that extra mile for you. Really enjoyed meeting the Alpacas too!
I wish I could offer some constructive feedback, however there isn't anything I didn't like or feel I would change.

Absolutely loved my stay at this B&B! The warm greeting from Magic and Maddie instantly made me feel at home. The hosts, Paul and Kathryn, were incredibly friendly and provided great recommendations for nearby places to eat. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful bathroom stocked with all the necessary amenities. The eco-friendly shower was a pleasant surprise, and the towels were so soft and cozy. I also enjoyed the delicious homemade bread served at breakfast, along with a variety of other tasty options. Meeting the alpacas up close was a unique and enjoyable experience.
Honestly, I can't think of any negative aspects to mention. My stay at this B&B was flawless and fabulous.

The owners, Paul and Catherine, are the most friendly people you would ever wish to meet. They showed a genuine interest in my holiday, nothing was to much trouble to them. The b&b is located on an operating Alpaca farm and it is in a beautiful country area that is quite close to the area's attractions suchas Hadrians wall. The room was very well appointed, quiet and very clean.I Would definately stay here again.

I had a fantastic stay at a B&B in a lovely area, just on the outskirts of this city. The hotel was extremely clean and the facilities were top-notch. Parking was convenient and transportation to and from the hotel was hassle-free. The location was beautiful, with stunning views and a field next to the house where friendly alpacas roamed. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with locally sourced ingredients. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making my stay even more enjoyable.
